Innovative approaches to cooperation between business and education in Eurasia were discussed at a round table in Rostov-on-Don.
On April 22, an international conference “Eurasian Business Education: Strategies for Interaction with the Business Community” was held in Rostov-on-Don within the framework of the “Business Eurasia” project. The event was held in a mixed format by the Southern University (IMBL) with the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Rostov region, the International Institute of Management of Entrepreneurs’ Associations at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Rostov region.
The conference gathered leading experts in the field of economics and business education, as well as entrepreneurs interested in the development of international and interregional business education. Among the participants were representatives of business schools from Russia, Turkey, UAE, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Czech Republic.
The main topic of discussion was the integration of business education with the needs of the globalizing business community and the strengthening of economic ties between the countries of Eurasia. An important part of the dialog was the presentation of the Digital Hub developed by the Business Eurasia Alliance. All participants recognized it as an effective tool for interaction between business communities and educational institutions in Eurasia.
