The Eurasian Charter of Business Education was signed in Istanbul
The document laid the foundation for the creation of the Business Eurasia alliance.
During the Eurasian Higher Education Summit held in Istanbul, the Eurasian Charter of Business Education was signed. The document laid the foundation for the creation of the international educational alliance “Business Eurasia”. The alliance is aimed at creating new standards and approaches in business education that will meet the specifics and traditions of the Eurasian region.
Rector of Southern University Imran Akperov and Secretary General of the Eurasian Union of Higher Education Institutions Muzaffar Baja spoke at the forum. They emphasised the importance of cooperation and exchange of experience between educational institutions in the development of quality business education. One of the key topics of the discussion was the presentation of the Eurasian Hub for Business Education, a digital platform that will become a tool for promoting educational programmes and courses, including the pioneering Eurasian Expert course.
The Charter signing ceremony was attended by representatives of leading business schools from Turkey, Pakistan, UAE, Thailand, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovenia, as well as Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Belarus and Russia, which was represented by delegations from St. Petersburg, Kazan and Rostov-on-Don.
The event gathered more than two thousand higher education specialists from 55 countries
